libavogadro1 software package provides Molecular Graphics and Modelling System (library), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavogadro1
libavogadro1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavogadro1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavogadro1 *
You will get with libavogadro1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
